Plastic Surgery

	The application of autologous platelet gel to face, neck or brow lifts eliminates the majority of the bruising and swelling normally associated with these procedures.  Healing is enhanced, with the average “down” time cut in half.
	The application of autologous platelet gel in laser resurfacing has shown to eliminate the weeping seen in these cases.  Total re-epithelialization is seen in 7-9 days.

Orthopedic Surgery

	The application of platelet gel in spinal fusion procedures has shown enhanced bone growth and an increase in the bone density over a shortened period of time.
	Treating non-unionizing fractures has been promising.  All fractures we have treated have closed.

Oral, Dental, Peridontal

Surgery of the maxillofacial region, mandibular re-construction, alveolar clefts and adjunctive procedures related to the placement of osseointegrated implants has shown to be very responsive to the effects of autologous platelet gel.  Immediate hemostasis is achieved as well as shortened recovery times and increases in bone density after bone graft implantation.
